The Series 2 Jaguar E-Type (XK-E) introduced a number of design changes, mainly due to U.S. legislation; glass headlight covers were removed, front indicators were re-positioned and larger, and an enlarged "mouth" was introduced, which aided cooling. Other hallmarks of Series 2 E-Types are a wrap-around rear bumper with tail lights below the bumpers. Air conditioning and power steering were available as factory options. In the US, Series 2 models suffered a reduction in performance resulting from a switch from 3 carburettors to 2, reducing horsepower from 265 to 246.
This stainless steel exhaust system is designed for the Jaguar E-Type Series 2, 2+2 fastback coupé in production from 1968 through to 1971.
