Front Pipe 505744 SSRR36
Connecting Pipe 273590 SSRR24
Rear Silencer 266459 SSRR25
Tailpipe   SSRR35

The top-end Rover 90 appeared with a much larger more powerful 2.6 litre engine in September 1953. Rover's idiosyncratic central gear change lever was used for this car, designed to allow three-abreast seating in the front. The 2.6 litre (2,638cc) engine produced 90 hp and reported top speed was 90 mph. The Rover 90 underwent modifications in October 1954; a bigger boot, wide rear window and flashing directions indicators all announced at the Paris Motor Show. When it was replaced by the Rover 100 in October 1959, 35,903 had been produced, making the Rover 90 the most popular car of the P4 series.

This stainless steel exhaust is designed to fit the Rover 90 with 2.6 litre petrol engine, in production between 1953 and 1959. The system comprises front pipe (Double S part reference SSRR36), connecting pipe (SSRR24), rear silencer (SSRR25) and tailpipe (SSRR35). Double S recommend this system as a high quality, long-lasting replacement exhaust for Rover P4 90.
